Netherlands pulled of a heist to beat West Indies today in their World Cup Qualifier in a super over.

West Indies made 374/6 batting first with 104 not out from Nicholas Pooran and fifties from Brandon King and Johnson Charles.

But Netherlands made 374/9 forcing a super over in which Logan van Beek scored 30 off Jason Holder.

In their super over, West Indies could only muster eight runs and lost two wickets, meaning they finish Group A in 3rd and move on to the Super Six phase.

There they will start with zero points after losing to the other two teams to qualify from Group A – Netherlands and Zimbabwe.

The top two teams from the Super Six will make it to the World Cup in India starting in October.
