West Indies have appointed Robert Samuels as Interim Head Coach for the women’s team.

The former Jamaica captain and West Indies batter will be in charge for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Ireland in St Lucia.

Samuels moves up from his assistant coach position and, in his interim capacity, will have Ryan Austin and Steve Liburd as his deputies.

The first ODI against Ireland is on June 26th, with the tour wrapping up with the third T20I on July 8th – all games will be at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.
